Richmond, VA — The Forward Party today announced its endorsement of Kristin Farry (District 72) and Brandon Givens (District 11) for the Virginia House of Delegates, highlighting their shared commitment to independent leadership, pragmatic problem-solving, and putting people over partisan politics.

Kristin and Brandon represent exactly the kind of leaders our communities need right now; leaders who reject extremism, listen first, solve problems pragmatically, and bring people together,” said Kayla Berube, national political director of the Forward Party. “Our mission is to support candidates who put their voters and practical solutions ahead of partisan politics, and both Kristin and Brandon exemplify that spirit

Kristin Farry is an engineer, farmer, small business owner, military veteran, and political bridge builder with decades of experience tackling challenges from national defense to rural sustainability. A common-sense problem solver, she is running to lower the cost of living, strengthen rural healthcare and education, and give power back to voters through campaign finance and electoral reform. With deep roots in Virginia and a commitment to collaboration over culture wars, she offers voters a practical, solutions-oriented alternative to the broken two-party system.

“I’m honored to receive the Forward Party’s endorsement,” said Farry. “This campaign is about building trust, empowering voters, and proving that politics doesn’t have to be divisive. Together, we can move Virginia forward.”

Brandon Givens is a veteran educator running to restore sanity to government and serve as a practical, solutions-oriented advocate. He is running for real educational reform, as well as improving healthcare access and modernizing elections through ranked-choice voting and open primaries. Deeply committed to bipartisanship, Givens emphasizes respect, rational discourse, and the belief that good ideas can come from any side of the aisle.

“Virginians deserve leaders who put their communities first, not partisan agendas,” said Givens. “I’m grateful for the Forward Party’s support and excited to continue building a politics of problem-solving and collaboration.”

These endorsements show continued growth in the Forward Party’s ongoing effort to support candidates who challenge the broken two-party system and deliver real solutions for the communities they serve.
