Lydia Hernandez was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives for District 24 in November 2022. With a notable career spanning various fields including legal assistance, executive management, and governmental roles, Hernandez brings a diverse range of experiences to her legislative work. She has sponsored numerous bills during her tenure in public service. Namely, she sponsored AZ HB2816, a bill to amend procedures for recounts, canvassing, testing, and handling of ballots. In addition to her role as a representative, Hernandez currently serves as an at-large member of the Cartwright Elementary School District in Arizona.
