I am sure by now most of you are familiar with our database building project. As we are creating various volunteer call-to-action projects letters to the editor will be one of those. This is a way we can boost name recognition. We are building a state-by-state database of media publications in one spreadsheet. This is how our writers will find the correct publications. As this project is due on July 15th we have set a goal of 3,000 media contacts by that date. I am looking for volunteers who can help with this project. On Wednesday we will be having our first of many working meetings. We will begin the call with a quick training then each volunteer will have the responsibility of filling out one (or multiple states if you wish) 

The idea of this call is that we can train volunteers but also have a fun, encouraging, and welcoming environment.
