We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Forward Party’s Black Voters Committee! This crucial initiative reflects our commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable future, one where Black voices are amplified and empowered within our party and across the national political landscape.
The Black Voters Committee is dedicated to:
- Increasing Black representation within the Forward Party: We aim to foster a welcoming and supportive environment for Black members, ensuring their perspectives and experiences are fully integrated into our party platform and policies.
- Recruiting candidates: The Black Voters Committee will ensure that Forward runs candidates who can address the needs of Black voters and communities.
- Championing policies that empower Black communities: We will advocate for policies that address systemic inequities in areas such as healthcare, education, economic opportunity, and criminal justice.
- Mobilizing Black voters nationwide: We will work to register and engage Black voters across the country, advocating for those policies that directly address the needs and aspirations of Black communities.
- Building bridges with Black communities: The Black Voters Committee will actively engage with Black organizations, leaders, and influencers to develop strong partnerships and collaborate on solutions to vital issues.
The Black Voters Committee launch represents a vital next step in our movement to create a truly inclusive and forward-thinking party. We invite all Forward Party members, regardless of background or identity, to join us in this crucial endeavor.
